About me

Hi! I’m Joanna, though my Polish friends and family call me Asia. After graduating and starting work, I discovered my love for travel. With more disposable income and flexible holiday dates, I eagerly planned my first trip—a ski adventure in the Alps after a six-year break. Despite a lingering cold, skiing was incredible, but I felt down knowing I’d have to wait another year to ski again. To lift my spirits, I booked a bank holiday trip to Bergen, Norway, drawn by cheap flights.

Since Norway was somewhat of a mystery to me, I did a lot of research on the destination and what it had to offer. That’s when I realized that, as much as I love traveling, I also get a lot of joy from planning trips. The three-day Bergen trip was a huge success. I had a fantastic time exploring Norway but left feeling a bit sad. The solution? Planning the next trip! And that’s how it’s been ever since. I’ve become quite skilled at organizing trips around a full-time job, allowing me to travel as much as possible.

I started this blog because, as I travelled more, I got better at planning trips. Talking with friends and family, I noticed that many people want to travel but don’t know where to start. Since I think the trips I’ve taken could be enjoyed by others, I decided to create this blog to share my experiences. I want it to be both inspirational and practical, so that after reading my posts, you’ll have everything you need to start booking your own adventures.
